What about Kurt Brownell Photography?
After twenty-five years of operating under the moniker Kurt Brownell Photography, I came to realize it was not truly reflective of the actual work I was producing, nor how I was creating imagery. I needed a rebrand of my business that could showcase the evolution I have made in my business to make my clients more successful.
Introducing Stillmotion/UP\
This new brand:
•explores a new approach to utilizing my experience and talent to meet the evolving expectations of my current client base
•encompasses my ability to also serve smaller clients
•reflects my increased video production work
•showcases my expertise at drone photography and aerial panoramics
At the end of the day though, it’s still Kurt Brownell making creative decisions behind the lens (or screen, as the case may be). All the experience, technique, and hard-earned knowledge are just that much more accessible to potential clients. Equally important, I can now make my substantial existing client base aware of my increased creative capabilities and marketing approaches.
This new approach is intentionally people-centric; lifestyle and environmental photography, editorial and conceptual approaches, well-crafted and consistent studio sessions, and group shots that raise the bar.
Don’t worry, I still shoot lots of food, architecture, and product photography. I love the creative challenge and change of pace all of these different genres provide, and wouldn’t stop doing them for anything. For many companies and individuals, these other genres of image making are very much about their company’s visual brand.
Now, more than ever, you have the ability to truly be what you want to be. The challenge is that everyone else has the exact same platforms and exposure available to them, so it’s still a crowded room. To thrive in the current economy, branding yourself or business to differentiate, while at the same time being authentic, is crucial.
